| Review these companies carefully. Some will provide everything and more for a single price. Most will offer items with separate prices. The big draw is offering you way more space than you will ever need. I designed a graphic site for a client that ended up with 1200 plus pages and 1100 plus graphics. Total weight for the whole site was 12 megabytes. What would this client have needed a 100 or 200 or 500 megabyte web space for? The average site on the internet weighs under 5 megabytes. Also, 1024 megabytes equal 1 gigabyte. 1 gigabyte of data transfer would equal about 250,000 visitors to your site each month. If your site does that good with visitor traffic then be sure you are not paying more than 5.00 per extra gigabyte. |
